FAMILY LIFE CENTER AT HBBC

Aside from Sunday School and worship services, churches were often the places where folks gathered for basketball games, baseball games, recreation, and social events that always involved food, birthday parties, weddings, funerals, and burials. Many of you probably grew up in a church just like that. As time went on, we have expanded our outreach to include many activities, including fellowship basketball, fitness classes, yoga, softball, etc. The Family Life Center itself does not “do” ministry: it is the people inside having a relationship with Christ and using the resources provided that “do” ministry.

Our schedule includes fitness classes, basketball leagues, church-wide recreation opportunities, special events, and more! No matter what your age or fitness level, we have something for you. We hope you will make use of our facilities! We are also available for ongoing community classes or special events.

BASKETBALL FELLOWSHIPS

Basketball Fellowships are open for Hayes Barton church members and the community. Groups come together throughout the week and play basketball. These groups only have to pay $30 for six months if they participate in a service project. Many choose to help with our semi-annual consignment sale. It is a great way to have some fun and give back at the same time. Please contact David Keel (dkeel@hbbc.org) with any questions.
