As believers, we’re charged with bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ – in word and deed – to as many people as possible, close to home and far away, Christian and non-Christian. That’s why Hayes Barton Baptist Church is involved in a wide range of mission opportunities here in the Raleigh area, across the United States and around the world. Through missions, we act as the hands and feet of Christ to those in need of material help and spiritual hope.
wednesday night is family night
Wednesday Nights are really the heartbeat of our church. During this time, families of all ages and configurations experience intergenerational fellowship and community as they share Family Night Meals in Hailey Hall. Following the meal, age-appropriate activities such as choirs and missions for children, the Midweek Gathering for Youth, Bible Studies and Prayer times for adults, worship planning activities for committees, special studies for parents of children and youth, and Chancel Choir practice take place. Wednesdays at HBBC provide an uplifting experience for all ages.
