ORDER YOUR EASTER LILIES
Each Easter, we beautify our Sanctuary with Easter lilies. You and your family may give one of these lilies in memory or honor of a loved one. Your donation is tax-deductible as the lilies are gifts to the church and the Home Visitation Ministry. The lilies cost $15 each. Turn in your form with cash or check (made out to HBBC with lily in the memo line) or place your order and pay online. In order for your name to be included in the booklet, we must receive your form and payment by Monday, March 23.
LENTEN PRAYER SERVICES
IN-PERSON | Wednesdays during Lent at 4:30 PM in the Hailey classroom
As we enter the Lenten season of the Christian year, you are invited to participate in prayer in community on Wednesdays during Lent. We will meet on the following dates after Ash Wednesday: February 25, March 4, March 11, and March 25. We will offer a worshipful space and a brief service of guided meditation and prayer, prior to Family Night. Come to rest your soul for this brief respite of sacred sharing.
WALK WITH ME: A LENT STUDY FOR CHILDREN
IN-PERSON | Sundays, March 1, 8, 15, and 22 at 4:00 PM in Room 11
Children in grades 3-5 are invited to participate in a special Lent study during March. Through the exploration of spiritual practices such as stillness, prayer, lament, and rejoicing, we’ll learn that we can walk more closely with Jesus as we incorporate these disciplines into our regular rhythm of living. PRESCHOOL EASTER EVENT
IN-PERSON | Saturday, March 28 at 9:30 AM in Hailey Hall

PALM SUNDAY PROCESSIONAL
IN-PERSON | Sunday, March 29 during worship in the Sanctuary
Children, ages three through fifth grade, are invited to participate in worship by being part of the special processional waving palm branches in remembrance of Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. Children will meet to rehearse at 9:15 AM that morning. We hope you will be a part of this special tradition!
HELP ON PALM SUNDAY AND EASTER!
Additional volunteers are needed to serve in Extended Session on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. We would love for you to help us lovingly and warmly welcome our young families and many anticipated guests. Please get in touch with Sarah Mears (smears@hbbc.org) if you are willing to help!
MAUNDY THURSDAY
IN-PERSON | Thursday, April 2 at 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary
Please make plans to join us for a special worship service to observe Maundy Thursday. This traditional Tenebrae service will feature scripture readings, special music, communion, and reflection. Childcare will be provided for children 5 and under.
BAPTISM ON EASTER
IN-PERSON | Sunday, April 5 during worship in the Sanctuary
One of the most beautiful moments in the life of a Christ follower is their baptism. A tradition throughout the ages is for new believers to be baptized on Easter. As part of our celebration of Easter, we would love to celebrate with anyone ready to declare their faith in Christ through baptism on Easter Sunday.
