YOUTH BASKETBALL MINISTRY
The 2024-2025 Basketball season has started.
The mission of the RBA Boys and Girls League is to provide an opportunity for students attending church to develop and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to fellowship/witness to others through the sport of basketball. This league provides an outreach opportunity for students to invite their friends to play and attend church events to develop a greater understanding of Philippians 4:13 which states “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (NKJV)
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
| 4th, 5th, & 6th Grade Boys | Monday 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. |
| 7th, 8th, & 9th Grade Boys | Monday 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. |
| 10th, 11th, &12th Grade Boys | Tuesday 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. |
REQUIRED RELEASE FORMS

Please turn in all forms to your coach before the first game. Each player needs to complete a participation waiver.
These forms need to be returned to your coach before the first games.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
Each player (excluding the Freshman Boys Team) must meet certain attendance requirements to be eligible to play: four activities by Friday, December 1, an additional five by Monday, January 1, and an additional five by Thursday, February 1 (14 total for the season). These activities must be signed by the Youth Minister.
Activities that may be counted toward this total include:
- Youth Sunday School
- Corporate Worship (This counts as 1/4 of an activity.)
- Youth Choir Rehearsal (scheduled Sundays, 5:00 PM)
- The Point (Youth discipleship gatherings during the traditional school year)
- Youth Sundays (Sundays, 6:00-8:00 PM)
- Youth Wednesdays (Wednesdays, 6:15-7:15 PM)
- Multi-day events or trips (count 1 activity per day)
