WOMEN GROWING OLDER GRACEFULLY
IN-PERSON | Every Third Friday of the Month from 12:00-1:00 PM in Room 206
Join other women in the community to fellowship and learn together. Bring your lunch for conversation around Aging Gracefully and The Gift of Years. Join Dementia Capable CARES for a morning of discovery and support, to connect seniors, caregivers, and families to a wide range of community resources. Explore local resources in elder law, financial planning, home care, hospice, insurance, mental health, nutrition, senior living and advisors, and transportation. MEN’S OUTING
IN-PERSON | Tuesday, November 12 at 8:00 AM to Linbrook Heritage Estate
Join the Yost Bible study men on an outing and lunch. With over 500 acres of farmland and forestry, this estate holds a mission to preserve the rich history and heritage of over 250 years of farm life in North Carolina. The Vintage Tractor and Antique Industrial Museum will be a highlight of the trip. The group will meet at the church at 8:00 AM and return by 3:30 PM. The cost is $5 per person plus lunch at Pioneer Restaurant. Reservations are needed by Friday, November 1 to secure transportation. KERNERSVILLE TRIP
IN-PERSON | Tuesday, November 26 to Korner’s Folly, Kernersville
Join us on a day trip to Korner’s Folly to see it decorated for Christmas. Korner’s Folly is a Victorian house built in 1880 by artist Jule Gilmer Folly. Our last stop will be Southern Supreme Fruitcake Factory and Gift Shop. The cost of the trip is $15 not including the lunch stop. FIT OVER FIFTY
IN-PERSON | Mondays at 2:30 PM and Wednesdays at 9:00 AM in the Gym
This class is a combination of low-impact aerobics, light interval training, line dancing, and strengthening. This class is designed to help seniors with increasing endurance, building strength, helping to slow the process of arthritis and osteoporosis, and enhancing posture, flexibility, and balance.
