FAMILY LIFE CENTER AT HBBC
Aside from Sunday School and worship services, churches were often the places where folks gathered for basketball games, baseball games, recreation, and social events that always involved food, birthday parties, weddings, funerals, and burials. Many of you probably grew up in a church just like that. As time went on, we have expanded our outreach to include many activities, including fellowship basketball, fitness classes, yoga, softball, etc. The Family Life Center itself does not “do” ministry: it is the people inside having a relationship with Christ and using the resources provided that “do” ministry.
Our schedule includes fitness classes, basketball leagues, church-wide recreation opportunities, special events, and more! No matter what your age or fitness level, we have something for you. We hope you will make use of our facilities! We are also available for ongoing community classes or special events.

ANNUAL
2024 5K AND HEALTH FAIR
The sixth annual Five Points 5k was a big success! Huge thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered. Because of you, we were able to host a fun, informative event for the community and raise money for our local elementary schools. We have submitted our “letter of intent” to the City of Raleigh for next year and are looking forward to 2025!
If you have any questions or want more information about running, sponsoring, or volunteering for the 2025 race, please contact Garrett Ferguson (gferguson@hbbc.org).
